The initial survey is the first step that will occur if there is a suspected bed bug infestation.  It is important that there is a comprehensive, yet non-invasive physical survey done of the property.
This step includes: Fact Gathering , Visual Inspection of Accessible Areas, Certified Bed Bug-Detection Dogs and Professional Documentation and Recording.

Traditionally the searches that are done without a bed bug dog leave room for a lot of mistakes and does not pinpoint the problem areas.  With our bed bug dogs, we will provide quality documentation.  If we discover potential issues, we will assist you in developing a strategy  of  next steps.  If we do not discover any issues, we'll leave documentation supporting dates of inspections specifying no bed bugs were found on the property which can be used as legal documents for potential lawsuits.  Many of our clients choose to have us perform this step as a monthly preventive plan to ensure quick and accurate responses to potential infestations.

Remember that not only do we use the latest in  technology and equipment, but our highly trained team of Inspectors and bed bug dogs perform the most thorough inspections. 

Step Two:  Following the investigation of potential problem areas found during Step One, we will work with you to potentially identify the underlying source problems.  Furthermore, we will assist you in the planning for the set up of extermination services.  Radical Solutions is not an extermination company, however we will offer referrals for pest control professionals that have experience with the elimination of bed bugs, as well as a proven track record and utilization of integrated pest management services..

After a complete and thorough inspection, an extensive report is provided to each client with a detailed explanation. Recommendations for methods of remediation are also a part of the service plan.

What Happens Now

Once the pest control company does their job and the bed bug problem is under control, one way to be certain is making sure that customers receive a Clearance Test which is reliable and accurate.  We will perform a Clearance Test using our bed bug detection dogs to verify the effectiveness of their work.

Passing a Clearance Test is based on three factors:  1) Visual inspection: Through observation the dog handler will inspect bed and surrounding areas for signs.  2) Infested Areas:  The results of infested area canine testing must be Alert-Free and 3) Surrounding Areas: The results of surrounding area canine testing must be Alert-Free.

A visual inspection is performed prior to any clearance testing, and canine inspections would only proceed after the exterminated area has passed a visual inspection(s). A visual inspection will only be acceptable based on no sign of any bed bug live insects and/or dead remaining bed bugs.

When the extermination project is complete, a Clearance Letter is provided to our customer confirming the absence of bed bug alerts in the areas where the extermination was performed. You can count that the Clearance Report given by Radical Solutions is confidential and disclosed only to the client directed representative.  Radical Solutions is also available for quarterly service contracts to ensure that these unwanted nuisances do not reenter your home or establishment from new sources.
